Cypher of the First Ones is one of the main systems in Patch 9.2 which can be used to help with exploration in Zereth Mortis and enabled thanks to Pocopoc, a friendly and customizable companion that unlocks near the end of the third chapter, Forming an Understanding. In Patch 9.2, Renown Progression is substituted by a new progression system, the Cypher of the First Ones - The Automa, denizens of Zereth Mortis, communicate using this alphabet and as we learn and decipher this new language, we will gain new powers used to help bring the Jailer down. New Progression System - Cypher of the First Ones There will be new rares and treasures to discover in Zereth Mortis. Instead of seeking opportunity and profit, they now see Zereth Mortis as a sacred place and will do everything in their power to seek and protect the knowledge bound within the zone. The Enlightened are a Broker faction that discovered Zereth Mortis long ago and have since abandoned the usual transactional ways of the brokers. The Enlightened are the new faction in Zereth Mortis:.These new daily activities unlock after completing Chapter 3 of the new Campaign 9.2 chapter. Content includes World Quests and Daily Quests.There are seven stages of content unlocks.
Information about Zereth Mortis is still limited, but here are some things we know so far.: Zereth Mortis will be the main story content of Patch 9.2. Zereth Mortis is considered a workshop to the First Ones, where they create the afterlives souls go to in the Shadowlands. This guide covers the first three chapters of the campaign, three optional questlines, and the explore/collect achievements. We also have a free “Unlock Flying in Zereth Mortis” guide that is now included in the Basic trial that will start you on your journey to unlocking flying in Zereth Mortis. If you do not have an Elite subscription you can sign up for one here.
This guide update requires a subscription to Zygor Elite if you want to access all of the guides. You will find them in Version 8 or higher. Our all new guides for Retail Patch 9.2, titled “Eternity’s End”, are now available for download through the Zygor Guides client.
