Both currencies can be used to unlock a wide array of heroes, gear, and upgrades.
The in-game store can be accessed anytime, with two types of currencies – “credits” that are earned during play, and premium “crystals”. Every user can upgrade their account to the maximum level of 85 (this limit is expanded each year with the arrival of new content), the maximum gear level is 13 and relics can go up to level 8. In addition to battles against other players or AI-controlled forces, players also have the ability to tackle daily missions or take part in special events. The main game area promotes battles and mini-campaigns that are located in different areas of the game UI – Six main tables (center, upper left, lower right, etc.), backroom area, and Ships area. The battle screen shows the player-led group of heroes facing the opposing force, with the characters that have the highest speed stat given the chance to make their attack first. The core gameplay of this game centers around gathering Star Wars heroes, upgrading them, and entering battles that are set in a fully 3D environment. Originally released in late 2015, this title managed to capture worldwide attention by offering players to collect characters from not only major Star Wars™ movies, but also a wide array of side content such as video games (especially the currently running MMORPG Star Wars™ : Knights of the Old Republic series), novels, comics, TV shows, and other canonical works.
